Kw variant 2 spring rates?

Anyone know what the spring rates are on these for the 172's ?

Good question, had wondered this myself. Anyone comment on the damping rates too compared to the likes of the H&R/Bilstein setups?

I have the V2 and would like to find harder rear springs for track use.

With the front set to the correct ride height, the rear seems a lot softer in comparison. As a result it's hard for me to induce any lift off oversteer.

I'd say the KWs are perhaps a bit too comfort oriented for pure track use, but are a good compromise if you want to track a daily driven car.

Perhaps the Bilsteins and H&Rs are more track oriented...

H&R's are not more track orientated. Can't comment on Bilstein. You need a whiteline rear ARB, brings the KW setup to life.

Do the v2's run 2.25" springs? If so you'll be able to get any poundage you like.
I'm sure if you phone kw they will tell you what's suitable for the valve rates.

Thats what I thought they maybe (kw) too soft, I currently run Koni's with revalved rears (by Mark Fish) and sportline springs I also have added extra bump stops on the rear to stiffen it up as much as possible as I cant run anti roll bars at the rear.
Also I cant fit rear coilovers due to class regs so can only run coilovers on the front with rear platforms to adjust the rear height.
I have the chance to buy some KW's but they are probably a waste of cash if I also need to buy more springs, looks like the best bet is ASTs as Curtis will spec them to suit.

Nah unfortunately they're the same shape as the OEM springs - progressive rather than linear.

Only 2.25" linear rear springs for the Clio that I've seen so far are in AST's kit

I think some harder linear springs would improve things quite a bit because I still have a lot of rebound damping to go, although bump isn't adjustable.
