lacquer restorer, or products to help lacquer peel?

Are there any such products out there? I can get pictures of the area I'm on about if that would help.

Very little you can do with that as there seems to be from the picture missing lacquer.

Smart repair maybe

Yeah I thought so. What sort of polish do you think I would need I've got some poor boys which is used for oxidisation and scratches etc. Or would I need a finer product? Cheers

  A special one.
Nope, id say its had paint work and the clear coat hasn't taken thats why its flaking off.

Nail varnish (clear) brushed on around the edge to seal it.

I wasn't saying it'd defiantly work, but it'd be my first port of call to try and hide it.

it doesn't have to have monumental cut, something the likes of srp should do to smooth the edges

Yeah that's more what I want to try and do hide it best as possible and smooth the edges. The patch is far to small to worry about for the time being

id key the area and just give it a few coats of lacquer or something, give it a week, then flat and polish

Thatll stop any more flaking
