here we go again!

do a search on LAD, theres been hundreds of posts about this over past 2 weeks!

sorry paddy been away a bit..know lots of stuff been said before but this just prooves how crap they are he he

they did say that there was so much squrming and wheelspin that it couldnt lay it down and thats why it got into the sevens.

Yeah I keep reading about this, who are LAD as in whats that stand for.

Was the 1/4 time any quicker? About the road itd be better when your already moving but off the lights, o dear.

wot a waist of money..how could you keep the power down anyways..bigger wheels, lowered suspension?????

LAD (Larton Automotive Developments), Ernie Larton I think is the founders name, they seem to be getting a bit of a slating on here, but they are biggish players in the uk motorsport scene, and have an impressive track record and some well interesting modified cars on there back catalogue. CCC usually talk a lot more sense than the other mags, and they seem to rate LADs Clio Cup conversion (very highly infact). So what is the crack, is this version of the cup any use, has anybody on the forum had a go, or even seen one on a rolling road (I know they made things difficult for the car to be involved on a Cliosport RR day, or where going to charge too much to bring there car)

The only way to get 200 bhp down in the Clio chassis on UK roads will be to fit an ATB diff from Quaife.. in my opinion of course.
