lambada sensor tips n tricks

Hey i have removed the cat from my 182 cup and the sensor is pretty stuck iv tried blow torch and holding it in a vice to no success. Any one got any tips on how to get it out. Cheers

if its that tight sounds like once you undo it the treads will be striped so will need a replacement sensor.

if your not reusing the sensor cut the plug off and use a socket and long bar.

if you can heat up the boss cherry red will help to loosen it.

Thanks for all the advice. Im puting a decat on so it worth just pluging the hole on the decat and geting shot of the sensor? By the sounds if other threads the ecu light is going to come on what ever. Cheers

Not necessarily mate mines running a decat and has a rear lambda sensor plugged in and fitted , ran on 98 Ron fuel all the time and in a year and a half never once bought the light up ! If you remove the sensor it will be on no questions! Maybe a coincidence but I've noticed the light only seam to come on for people running on 95 Ron !

Could be sheer coincidence ! I'd plug it with the sensor regardless but that's up to you :)
