Lambda Sensor

Hi All

Just fitted a new lambda sensor to my cup -thanks graham.

my emmision light was on, and when it was diag'd it turned up to be sensor number 2 on the downstream.

once fitting the new one on, and turning the car on the emission light was still on - does it need a reset for this to go off?

no, it will turn off after week or so if the faults fixed, or so many 'clean starts' Mine did after replacing a faulty probe.

best to clear fault code and see what happens. sensor is fine chris as used on my car. If it flags up again it's the decat. then all you have to do is plug the hole where the sensor goes and cable tie the good sensor out the way so it gets fresh air.
