Lambda Sensor

Alright chaps and chapettes!

Does anyone know or have a rough idea on a price for replacing a lambda sensor? I will be taking it to my local garage and wondered whether the prices differed between 2 litre models and mine which is a 1.4 Dynamique!

well my 1.2 16v dynamique was £110-£115 each (one of the 2 prices) trade from renualt

And that was from renault? So am i looking alot cheaper from a backstreet garage?

renualt didn't do the work, that price was just the parts each

labour shouldn't be alot though as all they need to do is put the car in the air, unscrew and unplug 2 sensors on the exhaust, reset the fault code, and bobs your uncle, fancy's your aunt

im sure mine was around £85

you can get generic lambda sensors which are universal which are cheaper, but iv heard mixed reviews about them, so i went for renault ones.

ah right, Its booked in tomorrow as my car went into limp mode on the way to work the other day. I took to get diagnosed and the lambda sensor was the only main fault to show.

Will have to ask the guy a price before the works done!

iv seen them on ebay for about £48.00 brand new. or from http://www.gsfcarparts.com/ for £42.00. im in need of one too before my MOT.
