Lamin X my headlights..

Car  BlackGold 182
well i decided to try out using some lamin x on my headlights

i already had yellow fogs and wanted something to make the front end look more aggressive. I only used the subtle tint they have on their site, thank god i didnt use any darker, come out darker than i thought it would, none the less i love it:cool:

havent tried the lights at night yet obviously, they look no different in light out put when i had only done one side. ill let you all know tonight when i test it out

I like that.

Can't imagine it working well on any other colour though. You won there.

And, of course, with Yellow fogs, you were never going to lose

I was going to do this in order to avoid the major hazzing on my lgihts that just tend to come back after a week of rubbing them down :/

Please message me tongiht if your lights work well bro :)

Looks amazing btw :) Also how much did you buy? Got alot left over?

thanks alot guys!!

i got the 12x24'' but i could of got away with 12x20 but the bigger size was better in the end because of more to pull and stretch it.

did you take the lamps out to do this?

it would have been better i guess to, but i didnt. although it was better still on as it stayed still when stretching it over the light, otherwise would have been a nightmare if it kept moving

hahah its not easy mate! mine does have a few air bubbles, can only be seen up close. apprantly they go after a while

new sheep mod?

Looks good, I've got some yellow fogs that I've done however never fitted them! Did you have much trouble fitting it without removing the light?

When i sprayed my headlights (if you can remember the thread) everyone kept saying i should off used lamin x but someone not sure who said after a week or so it started to peel off due to the double convex shape.

On a positive side it looks good dude.

I cant see a major problem as he has xenon's so it's alot brighter than the standard poverty spec anyway!!

Infact i've never had to use mainbeam on my car.

legal, just not as bright.

that would stop me doing it. Headlights are great when you can light up the road

you need to do a guide on this on how you fitted it and where is best to start :) like from middle outwards and cut it into shape? i did my foglights but they are tiny compared to the headlights and shape

though looks fantastic!!

Right guys I have to say I can't tell the difference between having the lamin x on tbh, it's obviously effecting light out put but hardly at all!
