Laptop keypad

A key came off my ACER, i sent it back to them and they replaced the whole keyboard under warranty..

They're usually impossible to clip back on as the clips break. Sometimes it can be glued on but u have to be careful where u glue it or the key will be stuck down all the time. Probably either have to put up with it or new keyboard time (unless its under warranty of course)

If it's under warranty just ship it back, they'll probably sort it.

If not you'll have to order a new keyboard, anything from £30 - £100 dependant on manufacturer.

What model is it? We have some old ones kicking about at work. I might be able to swap the keyboard 4 u if it will fit.

Dell are usually easy to swop.

Look on the dell site for a technical manual for your model and it should tell you how to remove the keyboard.

You should be able to pick one up on ebay for about £20.
