1,000% sure that you (or someone else with access to it) has been accepting software or acknowledgement buttons of the self-fcuking-over variety.

You could spend minutes, hours or days trying to rectify the damage to the O/S. But unless you've some idea what's caused it - the instant you go back on to the internet, there will be a very good chance that the same issue(s) will reoccur.

I would strongly suggest a reformat of the laptop - either by yourself or someone else. Whatever you do, stop using the laptop immediately for anything where passwords or login accounts are used. Chances are that these are being collected or at least stored for future use.

Couldn't it be something as simple as the cookies, temp internet files etc just need clearing? I had something similar not long back and all I did was clear history etc and it fixed it.

Run a program such as "CCleaner" to clear all temp files and check the startup processes to ensure a virus isn't kicking in as soon as you load up.

you have anti virus and anti spyware?
I would be running these first, then continue a healthcheck, delete unnecessary software then use software like ccleaner to give everything a tidy up. That will remove cookies, temporary files and give the registry a clean.

If the computer is still crap, then partition the computer, move important files across and format and reinstall the operating system.
