Laptop screen issue

I have found my laptop screen has stopped working yesterday. Picture is fine via external monitor connection so assuming screen is fecked
Any of you know contacts for screen ot hp/compaq parts or of an exact fault ?

yeah looks like its the screen. Usually with the price of them to replace its not worth it usually better off buying a new laptop. 1st thing to try is to remove the keyboard and reseat the connector for the screen just incase its that.

aye, had lappy in bits hoping it was a connector but seems it isnt.
screen is a 378209-001 15" XGA but has no markings as to who its manufactured by, possibly hyundai if anyone knows contacts for screens ?
