Laquer peeling

  Civic Em1, Civic Eg4
Yeah but say its just peeled in one place, That area isnt so glossy as the rest of the wheel. would i need to sand the whole wheel down? or could i just re laquer the peeled off section and it will go back the same?

Do the whole wheel. Doing a little bit will look pish.

Nah mate itl be fine, gently sand the area which has peeled, then do extra thin coats of laquer until it looks similar to the rest, then use T-cut or something to blend it in with the rest, will look fine i have done this on my alloys myself...

I'd notice this a mile away. Although I am a painter so I notice everything.

Yeh depends how picky you are really, if it was bodywork id say get it done properly, but since its just alloys id give it a go of jus spraying the area thats affected then blending it in with tcut or something...

If it doesnt look right you could then always strip them and respray completely eh? :)
