Last williams = dead

Was looking on some salvage website and it appears they are going to be breaking the last williams 3 ever made. Take it someone had a wee accident!

LoL one of the mechs at my Renault dealership is 100% convinced that his mates williams 3 is the last one to roll off the production line, theyve checked on the renault system and everything..... hehe maybe theres 3 of them.

Nah mate, far as I know its a Willy 3, he said wants to restore it.

Last thing I heard, he was lookin for Willy going cheap...dunno if he wanted it for parts, or just to race it on a track tho.

OK, Ive got it - its finally being delivered tonight.

I checked with Renault and its was produciton number 308 of 308 and remained unregistered for a couple of yrs....it was first regd in 1998 on a R.

Its coming tonight so will get some pics. Done 4k miles and damaged in the front.

If the last one is only number 308 then that pretty much confirms that the williams 3 is one of the rarest williams doesnt it? giving that they made 400 of the 1st phase, and about the same of the 2nd (i think)

How did u find out the produciton number mate? would be intresting to know which one mine is

according to production figures posted up on here fairly recently there are less willy 3s than the other 2
