...not what it looks like thank goodness!

Release bearing on the clutch went the other evening in Bangor - so went this morning to Renault to be fixed. Unfortunately it is a common problem with the 172/182 as the gearbox and clutch are known weak points :(

all was well until we realised we would trail the front bumper off by putting it onto the trailor...

after discussing winding up coilovers etc my mum piped up in the background "why dont you just take the bumper off"

ten minutes later it was done and on trailor! just in case anyone saw it on route to boucher this morning and feared the worse!

Make sure you check the milage on the car when you drop it off.

I've heard horror stories about CH Reno, crashing customers clios previously.

found out today from renault that the flywheel has melted - and that casued damage to clutch and release bearing :(

they can over heat and warp! This car has been tracked if i remeber picks back in the day withs its old owner......... Wouldnt say its common for the clutches to go at all either tbh
