Leaking Sunroof

Car  TT
Hi guys - whenever my car is parked overnight and it's been raining heavily, I'll wake up in the morning and leave for work.

Stupid amounts of water comes pouring through the interior light, mainly when I break slightly harder, turn quite sharp or accelerate quick.

Any ideas what this may be?

A mechanic next door to my work said it sounds like the seal and will cost £300 for the part and to have it fitted - the car isn't even worth that much if I'm completely honest.

Someone has told me about the a-pillars, what is the best way to check if it's this?

I was also advised about the aerial port(?).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Common problem on the mk2 clio's. Have a search for old threads on here as I'm sure they're are loads of discussions on this now.

Hope you get it fixed :)

A cheap fix as a temp measure if you are skint is Vasaline, get it all allround the rubber seam, i did it on my old saxo and ran it like that for months and didnt leak. Just make sure no one see's you doing it, as looks abit wrong!
