Leather Protection

The seats in my E34 are in good condition but there is a slight wear in the driver’s side, which to be honest for a 30 year old car is good going!

also some slight wear on the side of the seat base but hard to photograph. Is there anything that I can do to help prevent it getting worse? As seats for this are like hen’s teeth. I use a seat cover but that is mainly as I could be dirty if I am just moving it about the garage/drive. I have just used some leather cleaner and conditioner on them, it’s just a generic one I was given. I liked the Gliptone stuff but is there anything else I should be looking at?

I don’t have leather but I have heard the Carbon collective range has good reviews for cleaning and protecting 👍

There’s a brand called Colourlock they specialise in leather repair, treatment and protection and so on. I’ve never used any of their products but their brand is well liked from other high detailers on YouTube

Search “leather repair company” on google. They sell/promote some awesome kits. A lad that details on FB that I follow swears by them and his before/after shots are epic.

Just had a quick look at them and it initially looks like what I am after - like to re-dye those small patches. I will take a better look after work.
