As some of you guys may be aware, i broke my passengers side handbrake cable yesterday http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=314113
I still have a handbrake cable on the drivers side, so i still have some handbrake i can use.
So anyway today i was waiting for my girlfriend to finish shopping and i was parked on a hill and thought instead of using and relying on the drivers side handbrake cable to hold the car i'll put the car in gear instead.
So once i'd parked up with the handbrake off into gear it went.
I just happened to choose 4th gear, so just after doing this i realised the car started moving/creeping forward a few feet every 30 seconds or so which was weird so i tried another few gears 3rd and 5th and it did the same.
Does anyone know why this was ?
The car was turned off and parked up (no engine running)
1st, 2nd and reverse were ok the car never moved at all in those gears.
What would be up ?
Would it be a problem with my gearbox ?
I thought it could be my clutch but the clutch works fine with no issues.
Here is a picture of the hill i was parked on.
It aint exactly steep :S
