Led sidelights...

So a mate gave me some led sidelights which I fitted and they looked great!


Then 2 hours later they both went out and looked like this.


Why?! His last for AGES in all his cars and mine break after 2 hours, at the most. Also weird that both of them are the same? (Metal clip just loose out the back)
Want to get more but is it going to happen again? :S

I guess these are cheap ones? Even though I hate to admit it, I purchased mine from halfrauds (probably over paid) for about £8 and they've been in about 3 years with no issues.

Well my mate buys them from eBay for like £5 for 2 sets (so cheap they are) but he's had them going in his cars for years. Just odd really. I'm heading to halfords today so il have a look for them. Got any pictures of them at all?

All different kinds of cars tbh, he has a few lol. I've had somebody off of here email me and sell me some for £2.50, for 2 sets. Can't really complain at that so hopefully they'll be good!

I noticed on the back of a cars reflection my lights weren't as bright after my sub cut out :S maybe that shorted them? I've no idea why it cut out and when I turned the car back on it was working fine. Does that sound right?

I bought 10 for £1 off fleabay... They last about 6months, but it suits me fine, plus because with my big hands, they are such a ball ache to fit them, it feels like I've done something when working on my car!

Lol same with me. Some times bulb changes take 5 minutes. Other times it can take an hour. Bloody things annoy the hell out of me!

Recieved 2 pairs off of a member on here for £2.50 delivered, which is cheap as chips and they look like this.



Lets hope they last longer then 20 minutes this time!
