Leeky Front Headlight Washer

I have noticed recently that i have been filling my washer bottle up very frequently and found that my near side headlight washer jet looks to be leeking, any ideas on how to fix this please? Is it them ball bearings ive heard about on the Clios?

Thanks,

It needs to be booked in to your dealer. To fix it they replace the stalk, which takes 2 hours as the bumper has to come off.

Mine went in for it today but since its stopped leaking over the last two weeks I told them to leave it and sort the exhaust out.

The water freezes in the headlight washer causing the water to expand - this forces the internal mechanism on the jet to break causing the leak - Renault are aware of the problem and should cover it under warranty

doubt it, Im afraid.

had exactly the same problem with mine last month. All fixed under warranty, plus they replaced the missing headlight washer balls and they washed it, too.

But if its a known problem as previously stated then surely Renault are responsible for a defective washer pipe / jet or whatever it is!, im sure i will try and get this done for free. Will attempt a fast one.

they replaced mine under warranty, didnt have to take the bumper off and it took about 30mins.

if its real cold I cover them up with some bubble wrap.
