lol all back together fine and now without my middle box, havent tested it fully yet mate does sound a bit louder now which is good. got some more bits to do soon.

interesting, how old are you ? how much ncb do you have ?

19 and im 20 in jan 2 years i will have in nov if i add parants as named drivers then its £1600-£1800 which is stupid megane turbo which is 7 BHP off a 172 is £1000 and i reckon if i get one have it remaped and have some other stuff done air filter and exhaust it should be a wee bit more then 172 with a lot of torque

its only like a normal megane 2 mate in 3 door bit a set off 225 bumper will sort that.

ah its all making sense now. so its got a de tuned 225 lump in it then.

But i have a feeling there only N/A 2.0s because they didnt come here till 2004 but they look like that and are quite quick

correct. only differance is a smaller turbo. i think

Different map aswell obviously, get it mapped mate they go around 200bhp easy.

Different suspension setup etc

Don't get the the non-turbo'd 2.0 Megane though

yea looked in to it mate mapped different and bigger turbo and compression ratio different as it has thicker head gasket. 200 BHP with a lot of torque i hope. Tom do u know any more about them i work for renault but there really rare we get the odd espace and laguna with that engine in it and i have driven a megane CC with that engine but dont remember about it?

Er, yeah, there bloody quick, there like the baby 225. Like the valver to the willy sort of thing. There 6 speed too, a lad at works got one, hes had 130 (on the clock) out of his easy he said.

If you cant find a good'un, or need good MPG try a 1.9dci Megane mate - you probably know they dont hang about much

Edit- anything less than the 3.0 in the espace I reckons slow, its one hell of a minibus lol

How do you find working for Renault mate?

yea i seem to remember there quick, 6 speed with the ND0 box which is very reliable, 130mph sounds good to me. i did think about a 1.9DCi but they seem i did do a bit of a speed test in one and only managed to get a 100 out of it on one straight of the ringroad tried it in mine and mines the same. 3.0 DV6 or what ever it is, is best in the espace.
How come u said dont get a N/A 2.0 i dont think there bad but not much pace.

Yeah its not too bad to be honest. Theres a few things I'd change if I was higher up/manager but its alright, the paperwork to work ratios a complete joke though.

I think the 1.4/1.6/2.0 engines are complete shite to be fair. The meganes a big car, these measly engines aren't upto the job. 2.0T is something different thought especially if you get it mapped.

Think you'd regret getting a 2.0 mate, get the turbo

yea the paper work is a joke. as im not that good at writing and stuff its quite hard.

yea i would proberly get bored of a 2.0 very quick. I think turbo is the way forward and i think the ride and handling would be good. so im going to go the turbo way i think roll on next year.
