Flew past me joining the M25, granted we were going uphill but i was giving it some! (trying to!)

Well, up a hill with a passenger is not a 16v strength. I had a Golf TDi 150 tailing me up a motorway hill yesterday - dropped it to 3rd, but it was still there. But come the flat, oh boy did that car turn to a spec!

The Cupra doesnt have better on paper acceleration figures than the 16v, though it obviously does have much better torque.

My mum had a Leon Cupra, theyre damn quick! 170ftlb of torque and easily chipped to get an extra 60ftlb

EVO actually have the same 0-60 times for both the cupra and cupra r. They have a good any gear acceleration but theres not much still beaten by a 172. They are good alround cars though, reliabilty, flair, performance and better handling that a TT or S3
