LEXUS CLUSTERS

Brought some lexus clusters the other day (well i ordered them 2 weeks ago but got em tuesday) and i fitted them last nite and they seemed to work no problems. today while driving bk from work i noticed that when im indicating LEFT and Only LEFT and braking at the same time that my indicator slows down almost as if the brake light is causing the Indicator in the left cluster to cut out. AM i being silly here or has ne1 else noticed this???

Update.... Actually the whole left side indicators falsh veeeerry slloowllyy when i brake at the same time as indicating. This would surely point to some kind of earthing problem in the new cluster???
