lexus lights fitting

  Clio 200 FF

from what ive heard about some makes (no names mentioned) they were designed in a country where lots of wet weather isnt heard of and so the design hasnt really been with british weather in mind (rain, rain and more rain), it has been mentioned in some mags that before fitting get some clear silicon and go over the seams. It stops them misting up in very wet weather.

They really do take seconds to fit - just dont do what butter fingers here did and drop the plastic nuts (both of them - damn Im a dickhead!) under the car - must have wasted about 10 minutes shifting a rear lightless car on and off the drive to get the bloody things back.

what colours your motor mate? thinkin of gettin them on mine but mines met green and not sure if itll look any good!

anyone whos handy with paintshop fancy a go?

steve-my car is silver so wil blend in a bit. cheers 4 the notes people and ill try and not drop the nuts cos i have a drain on my drive

think u have steered me to pics of ur car B4 as i am thinkin about the SPAX springs........the grass pics were hard to see as the car was at angles.........but it looks good on the flat there! only difference being mine will have the standard wheels on it! Hmmmm............Damn decisions.........Apex is only 5mm lower...........Spax prob be better ride..........lol........whats the handling like on the Spax.........good when pushing on?

Handling is superb compared to standard. Works well with the standard wheels as I have had mine on for a bit(put them back on too early, damn snow). Got a piccie of the car with standard wheels and suspension if u want:

nice mate! how did u manage to change the cars colour tho????? lol! Hmm........think i shall be ordering some Springs next month!!! Cheers for that...........ps, it doesnt effect the brake distribution does it? i.e. the back end getting more pressure due to ride height being lower, makin the car think it has more ppl in the back? if u c what i mean lol

didnt know the 1.2 16v had brake distribution? Never noticed anything on mine. Wouldnt worry too much, 35mm drop is nothing really

I was gonna get some for my clio but was not sure how long it would take me to fit them.

But as it seems easy i think ill get some.

Ive read some others posts and people say they leak or let condensation build up?

Whats a good way of stopping this?

After thinking ill try removing the standard ones before i buy any these really are the easiest things to fit.

Once those big screws are removed...bobs your uncle
