LG Chocolate problems.

I've had my phone a few months & its starting to go nuts.

*It randomly switches off for NO reason.
*I plugged the charger in overnight & it was still 'charging' this morning but had only one line on the battery charge indicator..
WTF!

Does anyone know what the issue is?
