I have seen them they look nice but just not practical for me, shame because I really like it. I just wander if it suffers from scratching like the other LG's.

How come it's not practical for you? Haven't seen them so have to ask, sorry.

Its too shiny lol I am a maintenance engineer so 50% of my life I am blackbright, a silver slide phone with touch screen is not good lol. I have seen and held one though, they feel nice and weighty, not your usual plastic rubbish.

Prefer my Chocolate.

I do like the Chocolate but it's been out a bit now. Not a fan of the silver engraved strip on the new chocolate.

Currently got an N80, but don't like it anymore.

Just want a nice simple snazzy phone to text/call and have a half decent camera. Not fussed about internet and all that.

Under other circumstances I would definatley have the LG Shine just because its nice looking. Not bad features too. I only call and text as well

A mate has just ordered one today from o2 online they are out of stock atm, they couldnt even give an expected date. He is royally pissed off..lol!

i quite like these, they look so cool and feautres arent too bad. Im thinking about selling my w950 to get one, as mines useless for texting. probably should learn from that not to get something because of a cool gimmick like a touch screen. But still, ooooh, a mirror!!

Just been on the phone to upgrade my service plan and phone.

Asked for the LG Shine but they wanted £79.99 for the upgrade! Wanted a free phone, so the LG wasn't happening.... My N80 is now being replaced with a Sony Ericsson K800i for free!
