was in phones 4 u yesterday. i saw the dummy one thay have on display and i think its to big. appart from that it looks really smart. i didnt ask for a demonstration though, kinda wish i had. not that i would have got one, i preffer the size of the k850i...so i got it.

Got a viewty on 1st from Virgin (so no tv) but must say it is superb. The touch screen is supprisingly accurate even with the handwriting feature turned on.
I purchased an additional 2GB micro sd from ebuyer along with a spare charger and car charger all for 20 delivered.
It appears to do all the iphone does and matches very closely for the image viewing as my mates itouch. The 5.1 mp camera is superb along with the 120 fps video.
I've done some other write ups so if you want more look for the posts under my name
Just for info my parents had a go today. My dad has hands the size of David Seaman and worked it perfectly, my mum sent an email from it using the qwerty keyboard and handwriting recognition, they are both 76

I think its a good alternative to the N95 and k850i, is just bit more stylish looking and has a better camera than the iPhone.

i need a new phone, ive got rid of my upgrade which was a k850 cos the camera was rubbish sometimes, when i took a pic it was all black like its took in a dark room? and also the key pad was driving me mad.

I had a play with the Viewty at the weekend, touchscreen seems responsive using finger or stylus, like the way it vibrates everytime you tap an input. Camera seems good and the video seems good from what I have seen on reviews.
Did want an N95 but think I will be getting one of these now as I'm not fussed about wifi or the GPS stuff.

Had mine for over a week, just been to Tenerife and used it daily for pics and vids, very very very happy with mine, picture quality seems superb and video quality is very very very good. Cracking phone, touchscreens very easy to use and I can txt just as quick as I could on my old K800. Doesn't seem to crash at all either and runs quick even when multi-tasking.

the n81 has the music app running all the time to use the front keys which uses memory and the internal memory is less than the n95.
Also the n95 comes with the same stuff as the n81 and more, it even plays the newest ngage 2 stuff too. Also recently just unlocked by the developers is the motion sensor allowing automatic turning of the screen to landscape etc...
The only thing i agree with from your statement is it may look nicer, the shineyness is nice and the navi wheel is nice shame its not used in more than just two applicatios
nice pics. i have a viewty and find the camera and video to be good, i disagree with what you said about texting and find it cant keep up with me. i find the jog/shuttle thingy for volume etc to be shitty and also hate the fact theres no lens cover. apart from the few things i mentioned, i am happy with the handset and would recommend it to anyone wanting a decent phone/mp3/camera. hopefully there will be a firmware update soon so it stops only seeing/using 2gb of my 4gb sd card!

No TV Out cable supplied and I've been unable to find one for sale anywhere so not yet.
Apparently some folk with v10c firmware can use 4 gig cards but not 100% yet, I'm on V10c and just have a 2 gig card. You can check firmware in phone settings and scroll to bottom under handset info.
