I like how at the end of the video it also says "one of the best young talents in Europe"
Glad you spotted that, saw him last year there he was pretty good, Rallycross driver, but this i assume was from a press day, i wasn't there this year but i love how this is on his site, like he's advertising his crashes

Writing off cars seems to be a past time of his. Nice when you have the cash to fix them. He still took part in the display i believe but in his Fiesta.
I'm sure there are plenty of talentless CS members that if their family owned a race circuit and could afford toys like he has access to, would do exactly what he is doing. Probably crashing just as much.
At least they take it on the chin and they put it on youtube the same day.

There was no way he was ever going to make that jump with the approach he took.
He spent something like 5 - 10 minutes trying to get the approach sorted (I was watching from the staging area), but because he was running around the arena in a clockwise direction, he could not get the car straight enough for the approach. There were at least five aborted attempts when he got onto the take-off ramp and then went off the side.
If they'd cleared the 'exit' of the staging area and let him approach from there, he would have had a much straighter run to the launch ramp, and would have had a better change of making the jump, but probably would not have stopped in time for the barriers after landing!
Anyway, a couple of bad photos of the car afterwards.

Indeed he did, suspension failure let to him sliding into the concrete post in the centre of the track that was layed out
Liam is an epic driver nice chap too, known him for a about a year now his career has really took off now hes in his C4 with Hanson Motorsport (keep your eyes open for his new car... AMAZING) Just a shame he crashed at such a public event and not during testing

Lol he crashed on sunday as well...put the fiesta in the wall....
then carried on, finished his lap, did a massive drift round the last bend across the line, then did a 360 and was inches away from going into the barrier again

Stu, Did you get paddock passes, there worth it, get to see as many of the live actions as you like plus a ticket in the one of your choice, but you get to watch it from an awesome place and they really get close to you, will dig out a vid from 2010's and get it on here if i can
