Life span of a clutch cable?

New too the 182, so not sure how it should feel, the clutch itself is ok done some test's, the cable feel's creaky?, like it needs lubein up? , it's not heavy, or nowhere near as heavy as my old 306 XSI .

The 182 has done 26k, is it new cable time, or just lube ? how are they surrpose to feel?

Grease the cable and pedal spring i guess. DO NOT GET IT ON THE CARPET.

my 1.2 clutch cable lasted 135k/ 3.5 years. was very creaky and heavy by then.
