Light problem!!

I brought some lightbulbs a few months back and one of them has gone. I went to change it tonight and it has melted the light bulb holder!!

I have no idea how but it now won't work at all. How can this be fixed??

erm try telling us which bulb it is thats gone

pic of extent of damage would help too

I shouldn't imagine you can "fix" it, but you can replace it !

Solder the connections on the bulbholder back together?
Or get a new bulbholder on its own, only like £5 from the breakers.

Did you get the wrong wattage bulb or something?

The bulb that is broken is the dipped beam (the main driving lights). I have the right bulbs in. The holder is seems to hold the bulb but is a bit melted. I've trieda new bulb bit it doesn't work.

What part has melted?
The bulbholder on the end of the wire?
Or the actual light cluster on the front?

Which ever it is you need to place it.

But that's a universal one, don't know if it will actually fit properly in the clio.
If I were you contact a breakers, will be dirt cheap for the part.
