Light unit

How do I take the light unit out on my 02 mk2 172.

I know there is that top bolt that is attached to the engine mount.

Anyone, and thats meant to say slam panal not engine mount

You need to remove the front bumper

- drop front bumper off
- then you will 3 bolts holding the headlamp onto the car

2 of these are hidden behind the front bumper so that is the only way you will get it off.

God. What a ballache. So my next question is:

How many bolts are holding on the front bumper? Is it easy enough to get off?

Yeh, i'm having the same problem! I undid the bolt at the top, and then there is a clip, but i gave up after that, assumed there were some other bolts out of sight!! So how is the bumper removed then?
