Lights on mk3

Noticed last night on my sis' mk3. When the full and side lights are on (normal) if you steer right or left, there are little lights either side of the full light? I suppose to light up left or right handed bends/corners?

I would find this very annoying if the car behind me was to have this feature, it's like your flashing, but with only one headlight.

Yes i noticed this when i had a MK 3 hire car. I thought it was funny

Its great fun this feature and could be quite useful to entertain passengere for a few seconds. (or amuse me for hours)

You can't have this feature with the Xenons though.

Xenons > adaptive front lighting

yep, it's to guide the way as you steer to the left or right as the bend approaches.

I must have the cheapo model, as I don't seem to have them on mine
