Limewire

Hi does anyone know anything about my limewire, it keeps shutting it self down all the time, like 20 seconds after i open it, tried about 3 different versions now and all 3 of them do the same. Just wondered if anyone knows of a patch to download for it or something or if anyone else has come accross the same error

You need slapping for using limewire, moreso if you paid for it.

If you MUST use p2p apps, please use something without issues...

like maybe azeurus.. or emule

Nothing wrong with Limewire. Although some of the files I have downloaded from it have had a virus or two.

At the end of the day use the programme that gets the results.

Sounds like you could have some issues with your system if you've tried other installs etc. Perhaps do a reg clean or something.

Limewire is infamous for being malware ridden.

No I don't masturbate over online playing - however I'm sure there are lots that do.

I don't play my PSP for hours on end, as I have quite a demanding job. in fact tell a lie I played the PSP at lunchtime for at least 3 minutes.

I don't have any issues with my system as I do not run those kind of programs as I'm not a pirate.

And Yes I am a geek, is that not allowed?

If i were you i'd scap limewire and get bear share instead. It's faster and lot easyer to use.

I totally agree. I have LimWire Pro and I have NEVER had any problems with it. Maybe a user error? lol

limewire pro is really good always gets results and is real easy to use. Jus get a virus scanner an scan stuff that u download its only ever games etc tht have stuff. I didnt pay for pro either, jus get limewire then download pro superb. Seen kazaa peice of s**t got fined 50 mill. jesus

use frostwire! safer for your pc.. exact same interface and as quick as limewire pro for free! not bad for songs.. but for all my big downloads its azureus all the way!

I use acquisition on limewire and it works great.
I run a mac so am virus free (touches wood)

Frost wire is a advert and free version of Limewire thats what I use and it fine. For bigger files and movies I use the torents though as there better.

Limewire is ok for the odd tune or small video file, otherwise use torrents or newsgroups.
