Linking XBOX's via Broadband without Xbox live

Can this be done? Just giving the 2 or more xbox's ip adresses and linking them using a broadband network.

Ye.. should work.. you need a crossover cable though.

If you dont use a switch or hub in between the 2 xbox's you must use a crossover cable, its the same as a regular network cable except a few of the wires are crossed over the other way.. (hence crossover cable)
