Linux on a PS3

I've had it for about 3 months now, got music, saved games, video's, pictures, etc etc installed on the 60GB Hard Drive.

Want to install Linus on it but keep all the above.

How do I go about do this without losing the current data on my PS3.

You would have to partition the drive which would format it and you'd lose all your data. You need to back it up first.
