Lion - Worth Bothering With?

  Something Not French
As above really? Does it justify the £21 to upgrade?

Pros / Cons? Opinions?

Any help would be great.

I havent done a full install on either of mine, and have been running it since it came out and I've noticed a few times its slowed right down for 10s.

It did this when I went leopard to snow without doing a full install, so presume a full install would help cure it this time too.

Yeah my mac will support it. 21.5" iMac, 3Ghz duo chip.

Not running frig all really, mainly ponceing about on forums; 'A light user.'

Yes if you can be bothered with a fresh install.

Does it wipe the HD as part of the install then?

You dont have to, but I would if you can be bothered to sort out all your data.

You could just do the simple standard install and see how you get on, dont lose anything then

I used SL on my MBP. Now using Lion on my iMac... I wouldn't be that bothered if I didn't have Lion. But for £20 it would be silly not to. Lauchpad is nice :)

No need to wipe and reinstall.

If you use a trackpad then Lion has a lot of lovely new gestures that are great. Full screen apps and multidesktops is cool, not 1 bad change.
