I'm toying with the idea of doing a liquid yellow respray on my 172 Phase 1. I've only ever seen the colour in photos, so I'm wondering is it as nice as it looks ? If I do go ahead with it it will be a proper job, completely stripped, glass out. Looking like I'm gonna be an unemployed painter shortly so will have plenty of time to do it. Anybody on here have any experience painting it ? What brand of paint was used, how many coats of pearl to get the best match to the original etc ?
