Yep R65 standard gearbox but race clutch

I ran a 1.1 box on mine

Never had any problems with the engine, and it was running 192bhp.

Not fully reshelled but stripped it to bare minimum, then rebuilt to the FIA requirements for my championship
Yeah i'm on Metropower I'm named as MET30b

R65u will last if you change the oil and arent brutish with it. All my vvcs had r65us fitted

EBC drilled and groved discs
mintex 1166 race pads
lowered and individualised by reyland running 400psi in front and 450 rear
custom rear strut brace
Fully stripped interior,no dash,carpets,rear seats etc.
Bucket seats up front.
Roll cage
Around 650kg in weight

if you can get over the K-series head gasket failure fear they are rapid little things when you do the right mods. Suspension mods are basically free too. Shame they are becoming a rare sight now as most good ones have hit the scrappers years ago. I've had 7 gtis and would love another one to twiddle the spanners on

Lethal little things. My mate bought one covered in rust for something like a 1er with tax and test. Stripped it and I couldnt shake it in my valver..haha
