Hi guys can anyone give me an idea of how much it would cost to replace the nut that is captive over the break line that screws into the brake hose?
I gave my car to a garage to be serviced and i asked them to fit braided lines, i picked up the car to find the lines in the boot along with brake fluid i asked him to use. When i came to having a go at fitting the lines myself i could clearly see that the first few threads on the bolt have been stripped so the braided line can no longer be attached.
Going to see him at lunch for a nice argument no doubt. What wouldyou do baring in mind i dont want him working on my car as i have no faith in him anymore. Also he thinks im going to give him £249 for a 60k service.
