Locking wheel bolts help

I cant seem to find the key for the locking wheel bolts on my 172 wheels, i need to change the tyres but need to get them off obvisously :rasp:

Any suggestions as to get them off??

Was thinking of going to Renault and seeing if they could do it for me, but how much will they want????

prob the same as a replacement key tbh.

i Brought a car once without checking for the locking key

Took the car to some local garages and the lad at the one garage forced a socket over the locking nut and proceeded to undo them

altho you may have to go back to renault if that doesnt succeed

payed a fiver

daz.

You could maybe try it with a pair of needle nose pliers, although that said it is very difficult if the nuts have been tightened right up!

2 options - as previously mentioned you can hammer a socket over it and loosen it that way

second way is to drill the bolt out but you have to be really careful as you can knack the threads up
