- Locking wheel nut -

Car  Gay Clio 172 phs1

Silly old me has lost the locking wheel nut key :(

I dont suppose anybody has an idea on how to remove my Mcguard locking wheel nuts without killing my wheels?

Cheers

Rex *sorry Ive posted this in the wrong fourm*

My set of McGards came with a wheel lock identification card with a code on it. If you lose the key they can get you a new one if you send your details and the code plus 18 euros

Found on google

"I lost my McGuard Key (actually Firestone lost it and said they never had it-after the
rotation...hmmmm...)

McGuard will send you a new one, just take a pencil and rub the wheel lock like it was a quarter and
get a good rendition of the lock. I also took a black marker and colored the top and then pressed a
piece of paper up against it, either works...
Then fax it to em, youll have a key in like two days."

Also some other good suggestions on the link provided below

Or you could take a close up pic of your nuts with a digital camera and e-mail it to them.

You can also bash a socket onto the head of the nuts or drill them out. Last resort, but both work (from experience!).

Id never touch them again. Rather have my wheels pinched - and they only take another 30 seconds for a pro thief to get them off.
