Lockwood dials

  Jap Box
Looking at getting a set, is it simply pulling off old dial faces and putting lockwood ones on in their place.

Will they come with a new needle or will it use the old one?

Also wondering what colour people think wold be best, car is red outside and the choices are: White, Silver, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Cream

Im thinking either white or red?

Thanks, fitting is no problem then :) was just wondering about the needles as getting the red one will be pointless as my needles are red :rasp: will get the white ones :)

i believe u can sand the back down as thats whats colored then re paint to a colour of your choice. Duno what colour LEDs yours has and how it would affect it

Its easier to take the needles off with a fork mate.
I'd put some kitchen roll/tissue under it though, so you dont scratch the dial face.
You need a hand to hold the dials with.
And yeah, sand the back down til its clear then re paint.
Theres a guide somewhere on youtube about LED changing.
