London Concours 2021

Went to this yesterday with a friend who got some tickets through Alpine UK. Was quite enjoyable, even though I'm not a massive supercar/classic car addict. Lots and lots of very nice cars, and lots of very rich old men :ROFLMAO:

Harry Metcalfe of Evo fame had loads of cars and bikes there. Did get to speak to him briefly which was nice. Outside of that, there were loads of lovely classics, along with many, many supercars (Thursday is supercar day). Hard to pick highlights really, but the Singer was right up there, along with the F50, the ex-Dick Johnson RS500 and the legendary E-Type convertible that Norman Dewis drove to Geneva in 1961.

I love Harry’s Testarossa even more knowing he took it through the Sahara - definitely not a car that’s been tucked up in a heated garage and not enjoyed!

I also went to this yesterday afternoon. Full ticket price was expensive, but there were a couple discount codes easily found online. The Concours of Elegance is a similar event taking place in September, but further out of London, so perhaps a bit bigger with more to see: https://concoursofelegance.co.uk

Highlight car for me was the 190 E Evolution II having never seen one before

It was fascinating looking around his cars. Quite a few of them had a few marks on them. It's nice to see that really, as it shows he isn't afraid to use them. So much of the stuff there clearly never gets driven, so it's nice to see someone that uses them for what they were intended - though I'm not sure anyone ever intended for a Ferrari to be driven to the Sahara :ROFLMAO:

Some absolutely epic motors there, I'm absolutely useless for knowing when this kind of stuff is on. I'd love to go to stuff like this, love attention to detail.

That looks very much like the HAC in City road. The home to the second oldest military regiment in the world.
