Looking for a cheap laptop

Probably one of the cheapest ways to let a lappy would be to do that deal where you get 300 off one if you sign up to orange broadband for 2yrs. You
 
Hows that orange deal work? Anyone tried it??

Its basically a finance deal where by you sign on contract to stay with them for 2 yrs paying £15/month. So you will end up paying £350 roughly for the 2 years, which isnt bad considering your getting broadband for that aswell.

pcworld have a sony one with similar spec but with an intel dc processor for £499.

Orange bought out Wanadoo, i've been using it for 3 years and had no problems at all, we're capped at 2Mbit but thats down to where we live, we're right on the 6km limit from the exchange. Their customer support is worse than useless, took forever to get hold of anyone with a brain but the connection is fast and reliable - cant ask for much more really.
