The K&N typhoon that I had fitted to my old Clio did the same thing but sat the filter further down near the wheel arch. Sounded awsome!

Im looking at doing a similar thing.

Merlin motorsport do the 90degree elbow for £20, without the other part blocked in the image. Am I right in thinking its 70mm thats needed for the sport throttle body?

If so the metal joiner elbow is £28, which leaves the air filter and a breather filter.

Where would you get an air filter like that?

yes 70mm...on ebay there are some filters like that!
