Looking to buy a 182

I'm looking to buy a Clio 182 in the VERY near future. I have already been looking and test driven etc. I was going to buy a black one on monday but it was sold on Saturday. Looking to spend no more than £5500 and looking to buy from a trader with warranty. This is because the last car i bought privately went horribly wrong. Anyone give any pointers, what to look for etc. Quiet fancy a racing blue one.

Wouldn't bother mate with a warranty from a trader. Most are absolute s^&t!!!!

If you are looking to take out a private warranty, I've compared a few and a company called Warrantywise seems to be best. It's the only one that covers wear and tear that I could find...

The best ones around will be in the sale section on here so pay up for membership. Nearly all will have had belts done and the cars are known on the site.

Thanks for the input. Yeah traders are normally well sly when it comes down to warranty. I havnt looked in to private warrantys yet but i will.

I know a fair few dealers who offer warranty. 1) I'd never buy a car from one of them... They're criminals and 2) the warranties aren't worth the paper they're written on.

I got an Ibiza cupra from a dealer with 12 months warranty... The exhaust fell off within a week. It was a nightmare to get it sorted.

You're better off saving a few quid and going private IMO. Dealers are there to make money. Simple. I'm not saying all are criminals as I know there's a few on here who are well recomended.

I mean dearlership, not just a private dealer. Yeah they are all scammers really. And it's cheaper to buy private most the time anyway, so wouldnt need to save up more money.

The money you save buying private and the good rs specialists on here you should have no worries buying private.
