loose wing mirrors !

basically the other week some van whacked my mirror back, and on sat night some else did the same to the other one!

they click back in but they are still lose, how do i fit them back properly, they are electric and still adjust.

they are on my 16v,

any help appreciated.

ive done that mate, but they are still loose ! (ill give it another go when i get home though to make sure)

how loose, as in floppy and hanging down?

Take the plastic cover off the inside off the door, just behind the wing mirror, it pops off. Either its not bolted or the spring inside the mirror is broken or knocked unattached.

have a looksee about.

they are not flopping about, they are abit loose about the front, they do not sit lush any more (they stick out by about 1cm)

ill have a look to see whats going on,
