HI i found out that both my headlight washer ball things both strangely despaired a few weeks ago. during the snow.
so I contacted Renault and they want £13 each for a new washer jet complete. I would have paid that no problem, but I got thinking. they are a basic ball hold in the bottom and top and away you go.
I measured the hold and its around 16mm. so a trip to the local hobby craft and bought some 18mm black plastic beads. got home attached then my dremel with a screw fitting and took some wet and dry paper. sanded it till it was 16.47mm and it fits perfectly. i had to sand the one end with a hole so the water flowed and it took a couple of minutes to get it right but they work. they look fine and cost me £1.29
even it they last a few weeks or months then fine
