We recently sold an Exige S to a guy who was planning to put in a compact supercharged V8 of his own design built by Roush.

Bench dyno'd at over 400bhp with the potential for 500 upwards...in a car weighing under a ton!! Madness.
Im hoping to have a go when he brings it back after the work is complete...

'Own design'?

Roush has had that engine for some time, originally designed for the Lightning that Gordon Murray made. It is the one that has been getting a lot of press for going into Radicals/Caterhams etc. Only a matter of time before Elise owners get them.
