Low mileage 182 auction result

This went through at Silverstone on Sunday. Sold for £10k. Estimate was 6-8 so quite a bit more than they thought. I also didn’t expect it to fetch as much, then again the mileage is very low. Their fees are 12.5% + VAT.

I'm assuming 'zero former keepers' means owners.
Unless this was a press car. How did it drive the last 37,000km (23,000miles) ?

Does that mean people are buying and selling it, but not filling out the V5 paperwork so it always appears to be zero owner car?

If it was bought at BCA, it will be ‘in trade’ so the buyer would have been given the V5 and if they bought it to flip, they wouldn’t have registered it to them personally, so would still remain a ‘1 owner’.
