Low Mileage or Not

I can afford something on a 52-53 plate. 52 and 53s both require belts changing soon if not now! so would it be better to pick up a 48000miles model with the belts changed? rather than a model around 30k? which hasnt had the service?

Seen a 52 with 48k for 5.2k should be able to knock it down, all the 30k ones are around 57000?

I really dont want to get a 52-53 and worry about belts all the time, probably prefer a higher mileage and knowing its going to be in good working order.

opinions would be great thx

whatever you get, make sure its had a cambelt change, saves you £700 (or use the £700 price to negotiate)

Early 52's will need a cambelt in August and 53's will be the same next year provided they are under the mileage of course.
Mines a later 52 so its due in December.

Yeah certainly not all that bothered about mileage as along as its a sound runner with all services, most on autotrader seem to be a little neglected when it comes to the 5 year service. 48k belts changed for around 5k seems an ok deal imo.
