Low speed ABS activation.

Car  Trophy #473
when im slowing down and stoping for a junction sometimes my ABS 'ticks', not full on hardcore pedal recoil, but you can hear it ticking and a sound like a someones stalling an electric motor(humming sound) and vibrating through the pedal gently. the ABS works perfect and the car brakes in a straight line. is it just a renault thing?

Think there may have been a similar post in this forum.

My abs cuts in sometimes at quite low speed, I've normally found theres been dirt on the road or a drain cover. I don't think it's a problem on mine.

One of the ABS rings on the front driveshafts will have cracked, done a load for this very problem.
Ring is £18 odd quid + vat, hours labour max to do the job.
